These pages describe several kinds of wilderness-based work with which I am connected. They focus on wilderness rites of passage, wilderness solo retreats, vision fast, and a wilderness retreat integrating the Diamond Approach and nature. Here, you can get general information about this work as well as specific details on upcoming trips.

Training
I teach in several programs which offer training and apprenticeship in these areas. THE SCHOOL OF LOST BORDERS provides training and mentoring in wilderness rites of passage, vision fasts, and related work. Naropa University offers graduate degrees and training in ECOPSYCHOLOGY and WILDERNESS THERAPY. I teach in both programs. The Ecopsychology concentration is in the low-residency (online) MA in Transpersonal Psychology program, and the Wilderness Therapy track is in the Transpersonal Counseling Psychology program. I am proud to be associated with these programs. We also accept apprentices on our vision fast retreats. Contact me for more information if you are interested.
